You’ve probably never heard of Mahendra Kumar Trivedi (left) but if you are interested in Youthening, his work will inspire you.

Trivedi is a former engineer whose energy work has astounding effects on plant life, to such a degree that he’s been the subject of over 4,000 scientific studies.   Reports indicate that his energy has been show to alter the structure of DNA.   In fact, his effects on the DNA of bacteria have been so great as to transform them into an entirely different species.   This transformation at the level of a cell’s nucleus has a lot of scientists scratching their heads.

And farmers smiling.

The good news for you and your Youthening interests is that Mr. Trivedi believes that everyone has these abilities lying latent within them, and that he is just one who is actualizing them.

Its exciting to me that he doesn’t know how this energy works through him.  Because it means YOU don’t have to know how either.    Yet you can still learn to use them to improve, say, the health and vitality of your skin’s cells.

Mr. Trivedi believes that there is a natural intelligence that we can access to allow the ‘happiness’ of cells to increase.  And teaching people how to have happier cells is something I already know how to do – and teach.   Which makes it easy for me, today, to incorporate Mr. Trivedi’s proven results and energy state into the Youthening Program I’m developing.

As a Consciousness Pioneer, I love to push the bounds of what seems possible.

An area that has my ongoing interest is the belief that our bodies must inevitably grow older in appearance and decline in function.

From quantum physics we understand that there really IS no time, only the experience of its passing. Given that truth, aging seems optional and ‘youthening’ seems possible.   At least in theory.

My interest in anti-aging led me to invite Alchemist Reggi Shelley (now, Jaden Phoenix) to co-lead the teleclass: “Can We Become Younger?”  The digital recording of that teleclass has been a popular purchase from the Consciousness Playground Online Store.

I continue to weave new age-defying topics into the Consciousness Playground teleclasses I lead twice a month.

For example, I’ve led folks to access the ’state of being’ in which their body metabolizes eternity rather than time.

And I’ve helped members undo inner habits that lead us to experience our bodies as matter or particle rather than as wave or energy.  (Both experiences are possible since we are both matter and wave.)

I’ve personally identified and undone many tethers that have kept me connected to the widely-held experience that ‘aging is inevitable’.    And I love noticing evidence that what I’m doing has results.

For example, last week a regular client of mine stopped in the middle of our session to say,

“What are you up to these days?   You look 17.   Are you 17, for God’s sake?“

I laughed.  And we talked about what I’m doing.

Last week as well, My husband and I celebrated 25 years of marriage.

To mark the occasion, I put on my wedding dress and stood beside my dreamy husband (left).

I also jumped on the trampoline with my daughter, Haley and god-daughter, Emily.  (That’s us, above.)

There’s no doubt that I feel physically better and stronger than ever before.   And I know the work I do in consciousness and energy account for a good part of that.

I’m currently developing a Youthening Program to teach what I know and can download to help others who want to use quantum insights to stay young too.

I won’t release that program until its as comprehensive and measurably effective as possible.

It may not be until 2011.  But its coming.   And you can watch this space for details as I share them over time.

But for today, if you have any tips on how to get grass stains out of white taffeta, I’d be very grateful to know them.

If you are a healer or consciousness pioneer, you’ve no doubt encountered the notion of a spiritual guide.   For years, I’ve heard others say things like, “My guides told me to do this” or “My guides told me that.”    I’ve never had inner advice from anyone recognizable yet, so for years, I thought I maybe I didn’t have any guides.   But in recent years, I’ve come to realize that perhaps I was wrong.   It seems that I may have been missing the presence of my guides (or ‘hallucinations’, as Richard Bartlett of Matrix Energetics likes to call them) because they aren’t the type to give advice or tell me what to do.

In fact, if I had to make a comparison, I’d say that my guides are the spiritual equivalent of the pranksters known as the Three Stooges – Larry, Curley and Moe.    And that realization made what used to be confusing, a whole lot of fun.

Now I don’t mean that my guides are like the Three Stooges in that they are foolish.     Rather, the similarity is in the fact that that they are utterly oblivious to the seriousness with which we humans tend to approach life.  And without that, they are free to simply be silly and entertain themselves.

Beyond their playfulness, my inner Larry, Curly and Moe have an unwavering attitude that I, on my own, am doing just fine and don’t need them to oversee my decisions or steer me through life.   They’d laugh heartily at me if I ever asked them to.  It seems that, most of the time, they just hang around, aware of me from the periphery while they goof around poking each other in the eye and having a whoop-whoop-whoop good time.

Occasionally these characters will stop their antics long enough to pay attention to something specific that I am focussed upon.  At those rare times, mostly what they seem to convey is that I am doing fine, and that I should just hold steady.   If I doubt myself, that’s when they stop pulling each others’ hair and let me know they are sure of me, even if I’m temporarily not.   At those times, I sense their greater depth and wisdom.  And I find it reassuring.

The challenge of having this light-hearted tom-foolery going on all the time within me is that it rarely stops.  That means that during my coaching sessions and ‘work’, I simultaneously experience a situation from my client’s often-somber perspective AND my guides – who are not taking it seriously at all.   I used to find this contrast a challenge but over the years I’ve discovered that if I let myself be more like them in the presence of problems, most people are relieved to meet me there.   And on the heels of that initial willingness, they soon start seeing things from a lighter, freer perspective as well.

A woman who used to work down the hall from my office would sometimes say rather wistfully, “It sure sounds like you are having a lot more fun in there than we are having out here.”

I believe I can speak for Larry, Curley, Moe in saying, whoop-whoop-whoop, “We definitely agree“.

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you may have noticed that my teleclass community, the Consciousness Playground, recently grew up and moved to a new web-home of its own.

Today on the Consciousness Playground blog, I posted a new Energy Recording (or a Wendy Down-load, as one of my clients calls them) that you may enjoy.    Its called “Want Effortless Harmony with others?” and you can experience it here.

Several months ago I was reading an article about a young man struggling with cancer.  As I read his story, I began to feel flow through me a feeling which I would describe as the energetic equivalent of the opposite of cancer.   Having done as much energy work by now, all I can say is that there’s a characteristic sensation I notice as a problem-state ’shifts out of phase’, leaving behind the spaciousness, freshness and peace of its absence.

Startled, I grabbed my headset and captured the state on recording.   I didn’t quite know what to make of it, however, and didn’t feel ready to post the recording for others to use.    Instead I shared it selectively and have received requests, pleas even, to make the recording more widely available.

So, today, before I take myself (above) out for a ski, I’m doing just that.

I don’t make any claims about what it is or what it can do, but its here for you to try, use and share as you wish.

An interesting aside is that the young man whose cancer prompted the audio has gone into remission.

And here’s how the recording is described by energy wizard, Linda Goodspeed Dodd:

There are a few words in the English language that seem to set everyone’s “spidey senses” on edge. One of those is “The big C” – cancer. Most of us at least know someone who has experienced it. We want to help and don’t always know the best course of action. Here is some additional help.

Wendy has recorded an amazing “Frequency Audio*” for the state where cancer is absent. That’s a whole new way of looking at the dis-ease. This isn’t “anti-cancer” or “healing cancer” – this is the state where the condition (and all of its attendant patterns, etc.) is absent. This recording can be of assistance to someone who has been diagnosed with this condition – regardless of any other courses of treatment that have been chosen. It can be listened to by those who don’t have cancer – but who are concerned about “genetics” or environmental toxins, etc. It seems to break down the patterns that may lead to dis-ease and clears them away. And, as additional support, caregivers are encouraged to listen to it along with the person they are attending.

There is some indication that the recording may also loosen patterns that don’t manifest as physical dis-ease but rather as recurring uncomfortable situations. Take a listen – at the very least, it’s a quiet, comforting few minutes.

We often hear that a fundamental human instinct is to gravitate away from pain and towards pleasure.    So, why is it that we so often have circumstances in our lives that are painful or problematic?   Including some that have been that way forever?

When I started doing healing and energy work, it seemed straightforward – natural even – to find and release the inner patterns that created fear, suffering, and inner conflict in my own life. Maybe I’m glossing over the early days or being terribly immodest, but it has always seemed fairly easy to get to the root of problems in myself in the same way I do on others.

It has always puzzled me, therefore, to encounter gifted healers and teachers who are extraordinarily insightful and powerful when working with others, but have ongoing problems in relationships, are in emotional pain, or have big egos or money challenges themselves.

A few years ago, for example, I had the benefit of eating dinner with a well-known healer capable of effecting powerful instant transformations. Throughout the afternoon, I marvelled as this man worked his way through a packed room of 200 rapt participants, healing problems left and right. With unbelievable speed he quickly identified people’s core issues and energetically dismantled them from the front of the room. I watched open-mouthed as problems seemed to improve or disappear on the spot. It was one of my first up close experiences with someone so quick, in the flow, insightful and gifted.

Imagine my surprise then to find, over dinner, that this healing phenomenon was guarded, cuttingly-sarcastic and downright cruel to those he had brought with him. I couldn’t reconcile how a person could so clearly see and dismantle emotional patterns in others that he seemed to be in the grip of himself.

While I no doubt still have pockets of deep unconsciousness myself, it occurred to me that perhaps part of the answer is that its just not as easy for some healers to see, own or dismantle their own ’stuff’ as my experience would lead me to assume.

If this is the case, I can’t imagine how unsettling that would be. Its something I’m very interested in understanding better. Partly because, (here’s comes my immodesty again), I believe I could help.

So here’s my question. If you are a gifted healer still deeply struggling in some areas of your life, would you be willing to let me know what that’s like for you? How does it feel to release others from suffering while still experiencing it yourself? And do you have any idea of what or who could change all of that for you?

This morning I had an ‘aha moment’ while working with Larry Deane, (left) the web whiz who custom built my new website Store page.

I saw that my work and Larry’s are almost identical.

People come to Larry because they want a website and require his expertise to create it. Larry helps them get what they want by manipulating HTML code behind the scenes to create sequences that magically display as images and words online.  To change the display on the webpage, Larry tweaks the code.

Basically, that’s what I do too.  The only difference is this: the code I work with is that which operates within people, creating the experiences of their lives.  I tweak the code to change the experiences they are having or just as often, show them how to tweak that code themselves.

Website code used to look foreign to me, and beyond my capacity to learn.   But I now understand it enough to even create the new items available in my Store, all by myself.   As my smoochable daughter, Haley, (left), would say “Yeah me!”

And just as I’m learning to work with website code, you can also easily learn to manipulate the code that outpictures as your life.  Its right there, accessible to you as thoughts, beliefs, feelings and sensations or, some of us say, ‘energy’.    Taking the time to learn to change these inner setting is sooo worth the investment.

Personally, the parts of code I like to play with most are those we believe can’t be altered.  Because, well, the belief that they can’t is just an optional piece of code too!

For example, on my most recent Consciousness Playground teleclass, we experimented with tweaking the inner code responsible for the quantity of money we made… last year.    Your reflex might be to think of changing this as pie-in-the-sky magical thinking.   But quantum physics tells us its not.   If you want see for yourself,  the recording of this call will be available in my online Store in April.  (You can see it and several other topics in the ‘Coming Soon!’ section at the bottom of the page.
