… and in with the NEW.

I’m currently re-reading the book, “Busting Loose from the Money Game” by Robert Scheinfeld. In the foreward, Jack Canfield shares this insight, “When the time comes for an old set of beliefs and assumptions to give way to a new one, it always starts with a single individual saying, “No, that’s not right…” Invariably that individual is resisted, criticized and even attacked viciously. But a few people listen and see the Truth, then a few more, then a few more, until it reaches a critical mass. Then the old way of thinking collapses and the new way of thinking explodes into mass conciousness.”

You probably recognize this as a time in history where new ways of thinking about consciousness itself are exploding onto the scene. After all, Oprah Winfrey, the queen of the mainstream, is hosting an online course with New Consciousness teacher, Eckhart Tolle. And which over 100,000 people have registered for. Oprah’s resident physician, Dr. Oz, heralds ‘energy medicine’ as the medicine of the future. And Oprah recently introduced some of my favorite teachers (www.Abraham-Hicks.com), channelled though they are, to her audience.

Good lord. What’s next?!

What’s next is exactly what this website is about. The online community I host, The Consciousness Playground explores whatever is newly emerging in energy, intention and consciousness. Wild notions. Inconceivable possibilities.

I’ll post about what we’re doing here so you can take a vicarious peek into what we’re up to.

A peek into the future.

What is a WaveMaker?

You’ll recall from your high school physics class that while your body seems to be solid, it’s really composed of waves of energy. (A bizarre idea, I know, but we believe Einstein, right?) This means that the “inner” you – your thoughts and feelings – exist, not only as feelings, but as waves of energy too. Each feeling and belief has it’s own unique energy frequency or wave. Which isn’t really all that strange, because you can easily feel the difference between various feelings.

For example, the feeling of being worried about money, feels completely different than feeling afraid of speaking in public or fearing that you’ll never meet your ideal mate.”

Just as you easily distinguish between your feelings on the inside, the unique energy patterns of your thoughts, feelings and beliefs can be distinguished outside your body too. As incredible as it sounds, the WaveMaker picks up the specific energy pattern of an unwanted belief, pattern or feeling and eliminates it… sometimes in as little as one session. Let me explain.

Let’s imagine that an issue that holds you back in life is feeling self-conscious about how you look. That feeling, while perhaps long-standing, is not innate or natural to you. In other words, there was a time when you were not at all self-conscious. (Check out some of your ‘nude-and-proud-of-it’ toddler photos, if you don’t believe it.) So the self-consciousness that now seems so much a part of you was actually learned through events that happened over your lifetime and social conditioning that you were exposed to. (Seems fairly straightforward, doesn’t it?)

So, here’s how to understand that same event in terms of your ‘energy field’ - where the WaveMaker works its magic. You’re familiar with the way that the dial on your radio lets you scan up and down the range of radio frequencies to locate a particular station - like 96.7FM. Well, before you started to feel self-conscious, the range of energy frequencies in your energy field (your radio) did not have a station/feeling/energy frequency called “I feel self-conscious about my body” (96.7FM). Over time, however, that station/feeling/energy was created in you. Meaning that, over time, you became able to access - and repeatedly tune into – the feeling “I feel self-conscious about how I look”.

The amazing, breakthrough that the WaveMaker has made is this: when you ‘tune into’ that feeling while holding onto to brass handles of the WaveMaker, the highly-sensitive electronics of the WaveMaker scan through your energy field (exactly like adjusting the dial on your radio) and pick up the specific energy frequency of the feeling “I am self-conscious about how I look”. Then the WaveMaker™ inverts the wave of that energy, permanently canceling it out. Wipes the station off the dial, as it were! Which means that the feeling no longer exists to even be accessed. No more 96.7FM – no more “I feel self-conscious about my body”. It’s as simple – and amazing as that.

To say it another way, once the feeling/energy you want to be free of has been brought into your awareness, the WaveMaker detects its wave frequency through a brass “Input” rod that you hold in your right hand. The WaveMaker then ‘inverts’ – or shifts 180º out of phase – the original energy wave and sends it back to you through the brass ‘Output’ rod that you hold in your left hand. The resulting ‘collision’ of these two virtually identical, but opposite waves – yours and the inverted one from the WaveMaker – causes your original wave (station) to be canceled out. In WaveMaker terminology, this cancellation process is called ‘debugging’, because it mimics the way that a computer anti-virus program ‘debugs’ unwanted viruses from your computer software. This is also similar to the way that noise-canceling headsets that are popular on airplanes work.

Commonly asked questions about the WaveMaker
(Answers adapted from writings by Tom Stone, 2005)

How does it work?

Inside the WaveMaker there are electronic circuit boards. When you hold the connectors (electrodes, rods, wands) they pick up the ultra-fine electromagnetic field energy patterns that are emitted by everything in the body. The WaveMaker electronically inverts these sublte energy patterns and sends the inverted signal back to the body where that energy pattern cancels itself out. When a person talks about a particular topic, the energy pattern of that topic becomes present in the electromagnetic field of the body. The presence of that pattern lingers in the energy field for some time, allowing the WaveMaker to continuously pick it up, invert it and send the inverted wave patterns back to the body until it is thoroughly cancelled out.

How does the device tell the difference between the natural and unnatural frequencies?

It doesn’t have to. It cancels out everything but in such a subtle way that only the unnatural patterns are destroyed because they are unstable and unnatural. The natural patterns of energy are stable and constantly refreshing themselves from the information in our DNA. The unnatural ones don’t have this stable internal reference so they get cancelled out while the natural ones are constantly refreshed by the built in mechanisms that keep the body revitalizing itself all the time.

Is it safe?

Yes, very safe. The maximum output of these devices is less than 1/2 volt of electricity. To compare this to holding the ends of a AA 9 volt battery between your fingers, you would be receiving at least 18 times the energy output of the WaveMaker. One of the beauties of the WaveMaker is that it creates its results through the principle of resonance not force. This makes it a very safe technology.

Is there anyone who should not use the WaveMaker?

It is very difficult to hurt someone with the WaveMaker. In fact, we often joke that the worst thing you could do is drop it on someone’s foot. However, to be extra cautious, in is recommended that people with Pacemakers, pregnant women and those with certain autoimmune conditions not use the device.

The Mice Ate My Cheese?!

One of my favorite stories demonstrating the type of results possible with the WaveMaker occurred one evening about a year ago at my house.

My daughter, Haley, holding the cheese-eating machine that helped her friend

My daughter, Haley, invited a new friend from school over to play. When the little girl arrived and her mother went to leave, she began to cling to her mother - anxiously pleading with her to stay. Her mother said to me, “This keeps happening whenever she goes to a new place. Sometimes she gets herself so upset that she’ll actually throw up”. Sure enough, a few moments later, that’s exactly what happened.

Recognizing this as an emotional pattern that could likely be easily resolved, I said, “I work with a cutting-edge type of technology that is often of great help in situations like this. I wouldn’t be surprised if it could stop your daughter from feeling anxious in new situations anymore. Would you like to let her try it?”

The mother responded, like most people do, with a baffled look, but a nod. After all, what I just said was almost uncomprehensible but, on the other hand, I seem to be a sane person and am offering a potential solution to a disturbing problem, so what’s there to lose?

I brought out the WaveMaker and said to the little girl, “You know that awful feeling you are having because you are here at a new place and you don’t want mommy to leave?” She nodded. I said, “Can you point to the place in your body where you feel that feeling?” She pointed to her tummy. I said, “Would you like that feeling to go away so that you can stay and play at our house and other friends’ houses without feeling upset or worried?” She nodded.

I had her pick up the brass handles of the WaveMaker, turned it on and said, “If you will pay attention to that spot in your tummy where the bad feeling is, you will help this little machine find that bad-feeling spot and together you will magically dissolve it”. As she concentrated on doing that, her wonderful 7-year-old imagination described what she felt -

“That bad feeling is like a piece of cheese in my tummy and some little mice are coming in and nibbling it away.”

And later, with eyes wide with wonder, “Its getting smaller!”

After about 20 minutes, the ‘mice’ had completely nibbled away the bad feeling, leaving none of it there for her to find or feel anymore. “No more cheese”, she announced and put down the WaveMaker brass rods.

When her mother left 5 minutes later, the little girl happily waved good-bye and played contentedly for the rest of the evening. Since that evening, she has returned many times. When I asked her mother recently whether she had had any problems since that day, she responded, “No, there hasn’t been a problem with that happening again since that day. Not even at sleepovers. Weird!”

This is a typical example of the types of results the WaveMaker can help create. I love this story because of the simplicity with which this child was able to experience - and accept - the dissolving of that unwanted feeling. We adults tend to find it more difficult to wrap our heads around the notion that emotional ‘baggage’ can disappear that quickly. We want to know why. And how.

Which, really is the reason for this blog.
