Meet Wendy

As an award-winning Life Coach, teacher and pioneer in the field of consciousness, Wendy Down has been actively inspiring people to a higher expression of themselves since 1999.

She has taken her uncanny ability to discover untapped individual and collective potential and created a thriving private coaching practice and Consciousness Playground – a global network devoted to the exploration of consciousness, energy and multidimensional intelligence.  Her experiential programs and gentle, down-to-earth style of coaching are known for creating magical moments of transformation that result in a quantum leap in awareness (and the occasional impromptu belly laugh).

Wendy has always been passionate about the science and art of living life full on. A lifelong student, she graduated at the top of her class at the University of Calgary with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and went on to achieve a Master’s in Adult Education from the University of Toronto.  Her favorite book is “Courage: the Joy of Living Dangerously” by Osho.

A Registered Nurse for 16 years, she became a faculty member of Health Sciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and was considered an outstanding teacher by her students.

She then undertook professional training at Coach University, the leading coach training firm accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). She transitioned from nursing to create a thriving life coaching practice working with over 8,000 individuals through her innovative private and corporate programs.

In 2003, she won special recognition through the ICF’s prestigious Prism Award for her popular “Unclutter Your Life” program. Its focus: To teach professionals how to create a more meaningful and balanced life.

Her coaching continues to evolve, teaching cutting-edge transformational practices and technologies in the exploding field of consciousness studies. She became one of the first coaches to integrate WaveMaker Technology in her practice leading to a reliability in client breakthroughs that any coach would die for. This led her to co-create the WaveMaker Mastery Program for Great Life Technologies in Carlsbad, California becoming the first content developer and director of their Advanced Mentoring Program. She achieved the Level IV certification—the highest possible.  (This, incidentally, was easy to obtain since she was responsible for giving out certifications at the time.)

She then obtain Certification as a practitioner of Matrix Energetics. She was the first practitioner worldwide invited to host a Matrix Energetics Study Group outside the United States.

Her current focus is on creating widespread appreciation for those with expanded human capacities or ’high multidimensional intelligence’  and to help these individuals boldly step out of hiding.

Wendy resides in Brantford, Ontario, with her husband Dwayne and their two children, Nicholas (15) and Haley (12).
